Clean & Care

Cleaning is simple: rinse the cooler with mild soap and warm water, allow it to dry fully, and store it with the lid slightly open. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive tools to keep your cooler in top condition.

Camping & Travel

Yes. Zalptic coolers are built with rugged materials designed for camping, 4×4 trips, overlanding, fishing, and other outdoor adventures that demand durability and reliability.

We offer a range of cooler sizes, from compact options for day trips to larger-capacity models suited for multi-day excursions. Additional sizes and styles will be added as the Zalptic range continues to grow.

Yes. Like all portable compressor fridges, Zalptic fridges require ventilation around the compressor area to operate efficiently. Allow airflow around vents and avoid fully enclosing the unit to ensure optimal cooling and compressor lifespan.

Yes. The Z31, Z41, Z61, and Z81 models are designed for vehicle and outdoor use and include built-in tie-down pointsfor secure mounting or use with fridge slides. Proper securing is recommended for off-road travel to prevent movement and damage.
The Z19 does not include tie-down points and is best suited for portable, non-permanent setups.

Yes. Zalptic fridges are built with rugged construction and components designed to withstand vibration from gravel roads, corrugations, and off-road driving when correctly secured.

If you’re looking for efficient cooling with lower power draw, a Zalptic single-zone fridge is perfect for everyday camping, weekend trips, and solar-friendly setups. It handles refrigeration and freezing with ease while keeping energy use to a minimum.
If you need maximum flexibility on longer trips, a Zalptic dual-zone fridge (Zalptic Z81) lets you run a fridge and freezer at the same time — ideal for keeping drinks cold while storing frozen food on extended overlanding adventures.

Lower-capacity single-zone fridges are generally the most efficient for solar-only setups. When paired with a battery and sufficient solar input, Zalptic fridges are well suited for off-grid camping and overlanding.

Zalptic fridges are equipped with a three-stage low-voltage battery protection system designed to help protect your vehicle’s battery from excessive drain. This feature automatically manages power draw when voltage drops.

That said, for overnight or multi-day use, we strongly recommend pairing your Zalptic fridge with a dual-battery system or portable power station for reliable, worry-free cooling.

Yes. Zalptic fridges can be powered via DC systems commonly used with solar setups, provided the correct voltage, battery, and regulator are used. Solar compatibility depends on your full power setup rather than the fridge alone.

A cooler box is great for short trips and simple outings, but it requires regular ice or dry ice top-ups, which can become costly and inconvenient over time. A camping fridge offers consistent temperature control, longer food preservation, and removes the ongoing expense and hassle of buying ice. For extended trips, overlanding, and frequent outdoor use, a fridge is usually the more practical long-term solution.

For day trips, the Zalptic Z19 is a portable alternative — it can be pre-cooled at home or plugged in wherever you are, keeping items cold without ice or helping ice last much longer when pre-chilled.

Zalptic is positioned as a rugged, value-driven alternative offering modern features, solid build quality, and competitive pricing. Compared to generic imports, Zalptic focuses on reliability, support, and real outdoor use. Compared to long-established premium brands, Zalptic delivers strong performance and durability without the top-tier price tag.
